14 October 2024, 5:18 pm IST

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is a popular national-level exam conducted every year. It is held for candidates looking to pursue engineering courses such as B.Tech, B.Arch, and B.E in some of the top colleges in India.

The JEE Main 2024 had a record-breaking number of 1231874 registered candidates. This shows the students' increasing aspiration to get an engineering seat in the IITs.

IIT or Indian Institute of Technology, is the most prestigious for studying engineering in India. The JEE consists of two parts: the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exams.

The scores of the candidates in the JEE Mains determine their eligibility to move to the next phase, which is the JEE Advanced.
