From IT Professional to Published Author – My Amity Online Journey My name is Divya, and my journey has been anything but ordinary from student to IT professional, wife, mother, and now, a student once again. After nearly 15 years in the IT industry, my passion for writing became impossible to ignore. Ever since childhood, I’ve been drawn to rhymes and storytelling. I wrote my first poem in 9th grade, and that creative spark never left me. Recently, I took a major step toward that passion by authoring and publishing my first book, Never Give Up. Enrolling in the Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication (MAJMC) program at Amity Online has truly given wings to my long-standing dream.
