Through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), the Dr. Ambedkar Scholarship Portal, or the official Punjab website, applicants can apply for the Punjab Scholarship. These are the detailed directions to follow:

  1. Visit scholarships.punjab.gov.in.
  2. Go to the Student Corner and tab "Student Registration."
  3. A new tab will open. Enter the following required details:
    • Applicant's Aadhaar number

Apply Process for the Punjab Scholarship 2024

In addition, the family's annual income cannot be more than INR one lakh, and no parent or guardian may own more than five acres of property.
 
Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, PunjabAllMinority students, including Christians, Muslims, Parsis, Sikhs, Jains, and Buddhists, are urged to submit their applications. They should be focusing on pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies in areas such as technology, nursing, pharmacy, professional, and management. At least 50% of the previous qualifying exams must be cleared, and the annual income of the applicant's family cannot exceed INR 2.50 lakh.
Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, PunjabAllSikhs, Muslims, Christians, Jains, Parsis, and Buddhists are all welcome to apply, especially minority students. The only eligible applicants are students from grades 11 through PhD studying at private or public schools, colleges, or universities after matriculation. The total annual income from all sources of their family must not exceed INR 2 lakh.
Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, PunjabAllStudents from minority communities, including Sikh, Muslim, Parsi, Christian, Jain, and Buddhist backgrounds, who are in grades 1 to 10 in private or public schools are eligible to apply for this award. Applicants must earn less than INR 1 lakh per year for their family and also achieve a minimum of 50% of total points in their latest qualifying exams.
 
Chief Minister Scholarship SchemeALLScholarships are provided for deserving 10th graders who are registered in diploma programs at government polytechnics. One of the criteria for being eligible is obtaining a grade no lower than 60%.
 
Pre-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, PunjabOBCStudents in grades 1 to 10 can qualify for the Punjab scholarship as long as their family's yearly earnings do not exceed INR 44,500.
 
Post-Matric Scholarship for OBC Students, PunjabOBCThis scholarship opportunity is open to students who are enrolled in post-matriculation courses (from class 11 to postdoctoral studies) at accredited schools or institutions. The requirements state that a family's yearly earnings must not exceed INR 1 Lakh, with a cap of INR 1 Lakh annually.

Benefits of Punjab Scholarship 2024

Chief Minister Scholarship SchemeStudents in grade 10 will be granted fee exemptions according to their scores.

- A discount of 70% is available for those who qualify between 60% and 70%.

- Between 70% and 80%: a discount of 80% on fees

- 80% to 90%: 90% discount off the fee

- From 90% to 100%: Complete exemption from fees
 
OBC Pre-Matric Scholarship Program

  2. - Students in grades 1 through 5 receive a monthly scholarship of INR 25.
    - Students in grades 6 through 8 receive a monthly stipend of INR 40.
    - Students in grades 9 and 10 receive a monthly stipend of INR 50.
    - Every scholar receives an annual ad hoc award of INR 500.
Scholarships for OBC Students Post Matric

    - Day scholars receive a monthly maintenance payment of up to INR 350.
    - Candidates who are blind or visually challenged receive reader fees of up to INR 175 per month.

    - Study travel fees of up to INR 900 per year.
    - Typing and publishing fees for theses of up to INR 1000.
SC Scholarship Punjab Students' Pre-Matric

    - Additional allowances are provided for books: day scholars receive an annual ad hoc grant of INR 750, and hostellers receive INR 1000.

SC Scholarship Punjab Students Post Matric

    - Day scholars receive a monthly maintenance allowance of up to INR 550, while hostellers receive up to INR 1200 per month.
    - Students with disabilities receive a monthly stipend of up to INR 240.
    - Reimbursement of mandatory non-refundable fees.
    - Study travel fees of up to INR 1600 annually.
    - Research scholars may receive up to INR 1600 for typing and printing their theses.
