How to apply for the SECI Internship Program?

Students can access the portal of SECI at https://www.seci.co.in/page/seci-internship to apply for internships. Remember that Solar Energy Corporation of India recruitment for an internship takes place between the 1^st and 10^th of every month. So, all you need is to visit the SECI official portal on the above link during the above mentioned dates to stay updated and apply as an intern. Applicants are required to indicate the duration of their internship including the start date and the end date while applying along with their mentioning their area of interest and why they want to intern with SECI. 

Duration of the Internship

The period of internship ranges from a minimum of three months to a maximum of 6 months for Engineering and MTech students.  For CA/CS/ICWA/CMA candidates, the internship duration can range from six months to up to three years. On the other hand, MBA students can expect to intern with SECI for a duration that ranges from seven weeks to six months. 

However, note that students who have completed their degrees and those who left their degrees in between are not eligible for the internship. The applicants can choose from a list of areas/domains that suit their interest to pursue the internship. 

Domains or Areas of Interest for Applicants

1. Applicants can work in areas related to Renewable Energy and Solar-Wind Hybrids.
2. They can have hands-on experience in Solar Rooftop projects and Off-grid Solar.
3. They can work on Solar manufacturing projects and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
4. Floating Solar is another area that interns can gain insights in.
5. The emerging field of Solar Park development is again an area of interest for candidates to choose from.

Benefits of the SECI Internship Program?
