Online Process

New Registration:

1. Visit the National Scholarships Portal's Registration page.
2. You will see the "Guidelines for Registration" page. Scroll to the bottom, read the undertaking carefully, accept the terms, and click "Continue."
3. The Registration Form will appear (fields marked with * are mandatory). Fill in the necessary details and click "Register." Your Application ID and password will be displayed and sent to your registered mobile number via SMS.

Fresh Application:

1. Visit the applicant login page on the National Scholarships Portal and enter your Application ID and password.
2. Type the captcha and click "Login."

1. The National Scholarships Portal will announce the opening and closing dates for applications.
2. Online applications will be verified at two levels: first by the Institute where the student is enrolled and then by the respective state higher education department or the designated state nodal agency (for both fresh and renewal applicants).
3. Students will not face permanent disqualification from scholarships due to delays in renewal or verification. However, they must submit renewal applications before the cut-off date. You must complete the deadline to ensure renewal is possible for that academic year.
